摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the traveling of an own vehicle when an obstacle exists on an own vehicle lane on which the own vehicle travels.SOLUTION: An operation support device is configured to detect, from among objects (OB, GA, GB, GC) detected by a laser radar mounted on an own vehicle VC, an obstacle OB which is stopped on an own vehicle lane WL on which the own vehicle travels, and to, from among the objects detected by the laser radar, detect other vehicles (GA, GB) which are trying to enter an opposite lane from another driveway LDa intersecting an opposite lane PL opposite to the own vehicle lane or a parking lot LDb adjacent to the opposite lane. The operation support device is configured to, when the obstacle OB or the other vehicles (GA, GB) are detected, set a stop position ST where the own vehicle is stopped before the obstacle on the basis of a positional relation between the obstacle and the other vehicles. The operation support device is configured to set the stop position such that the other vehicles can be detected by the laser radar in a state that the own vehicle is stopped at the stop position.
