PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive transfer recording medium capable of easily imparting a mat tone using a protective layer to an image obtained by a heat-sensitive transfer method while preventing deterioration of the minuteness or clarity of the image.SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive transfer recording medium 1 includes: a substrate 10; a thermostable lubricant layer 50 formed on one surface of the substrate 10; and a thermally transferable protective layer 40 formed on the other surface of the substrate 10. The thermally transferable protective layer 40 is formed by sequentially laminating a release layer 20 and a protective layer 30 on at least part of the other surface of the substrate 10. The release layer 20 includes indeterminate-formed inorganic filler 21 having a particle size at most twice as thick as the release layer 20 and spherical organic filler 22 having a particle size at least twice as thick as the release layer 20 added thereto. The organic filler 22 is formed with the same resin-based material as a surface of the protective layer 30 after transfer. |
