PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brain activity analysis method for implementing a biomarker using brain function imaging for nervous/mental disease.SOLUTION: A brain activity analysis method includes the steps of: leading out a correlation matrix 80 on activity between predetermined brain regions of each subject from data of resting-state functional connectivity MRI measured on a health group and a patient group; performing feature extraction 84 using regularization canonical correlation analysis 82 on the correlation matrixes 80 and subjects' attributes including the subjects' patient/healthy person labels; and creating a discriminator 88 by discrimination analysis 86 using sparse logistic regression, on the basis of a result of the regularization canonical correlation analysis.
