PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for realizing both of a durability performance and an ignition performance of a plasma jet plug.SOLUTION: The plasma jet plug comprises a cylindrical insulator, a rod-like center electrode arranged inside of a shaft hole of the insulator, a main metal fitting, and a ground electrode electrically connected to the main metal fitting, having a hole opened on an axial line, and including a plate-like part arranged at a tip of the insulator. A cavity is formed by a surface of a small diameter part of the center electrode, and an inner periphery of the insulator. A distance in the axial line direction from the center electrode to the ground electrode is designated as G (mm), a shortest distance between the center electrode and the inner periphery of the insulator is designated as A (mm), a distance in the axial line direction from a rear end of the small diameter part to the ground electrode is designated as B (mm), width in the radial direction of the center electrode is designated as D (mm), and width in the radial direction of the hole of the ground electrode is designated as E (mm), 0.5G≤A≤0.8G, 2G≤B≤3G, 0.5≤G≤1.2, D≤2.2, and 0.8D≤E are satisfied. |
