PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-chip system and a register setting method of the same capable of writing that enable writing in all slave chips at a time when operating to write in registers in multi-chip systems composed of two slave chips or more performing the same function and a master chip controlling the slave chips.SOLUTION: A multi-chip system comprises a plurality of slave chips and a master chip controlling the plurality of slave chips. In the plurality of the slave chips, a common chip ID and a stationary chip ID are set up, and the master chip is adapted to command simultaneous writing to the plurality of slave chips using the common chip ID, and to command individual writing to the plurality of slave chips using the stationary chip ID.
