<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise estimation accuracy of a transmission path response in transmission of a plurality of OFDM signals.SOLUTION: A transmitter comprises: a pilot signal insertion part 136 which generates n OFDM symbols by inserting pilot signals with mutually different patterns into the same position of n (n≥2) transmission signals; and an OFDM signal generation part 137 which generates n OFDM signals by modulating the respective carriers of the n OFDM symbols. The pilot signal insertion part 136 inserts at least one of only a signal having a significant value, the signal having the significant value and a non-signal, and the signal with the significant value and a signal obtained by inverting a symbol of the signal having the significant value, and the signal having the significant value, the signal obtained by inverting the symbol of the signal having the significant value, and the non-signal as the pilot signals with the different patterns, and further inserts the non-signal into a position adjacent to a carrier direction of the inserted signal.</p> |
