The invention relates to a switching converter, comprising a transformer, which has a primary winding, which is connected to an input voltage (1) in series with two switching elements (2, 3), wherein the primary winding is divided into a first partial winding (4) and a second partial winding (5), a tap (6) being arranged therebetween, and wherein the tap (6) is connected to a centre tap (7) of a capacitive voltage divider by means of a damping element (8) or a damping network. In this way, high-frequency oscillations, which otherwise would lead to a lower efficiency, are damped. |
