A hand-held power tool has a drive and a pneumatic percussive mechanism. The percussive mechanism comprises a hammer movable along a working axis, a driving piston bound to the drive by a connecting rod (17) and a pneumatic chamber that couples a movement of the hammer to the driving piston. The connecting rod (17) is suspended from the driving piston so as to swivel about a swivelling axis (27). A sealing ring (25) encloses in a plane a lateral surface (23) of the driving piston. The swivelling axis (27) lies in the plane.
