<p> The radiation image detector of the present invention has a radiation detection panel, a housing for accommodating the radiation detection panel in an inside thereof, a cushioning material for mitigating shock to the radiation detection panel, and a light source unit for radiating light to the radiation detection panel. The light source unit has a light-emitting element, a light-guide layer for causing light from the light-emitting element to be uniformly emitted in a plane, a diffusing layer for uniformly diffusing the light from the light-emitting element, and a reflecting layer for reflecting light to the radiation detection panel. The light-emitting element, light-guide layer, diffusion layer, and reflecting layer of the light source unit are precompressed and bound together by the cushioning material.</p> |
