<p>Abstract A clothesline for hanging clothes There is provided clothesline (1) for hanging clothes comprising oppositely located vertical supports (3); at least one lengthwise brace (4) fastened between the oppositely located vertical supports (3) to brace the oppositely located vertical supports apart and clothes hanging means fastened to the oppositely located vertical supports (3), the clothes hanging means (3) comprising respective breadthwise extending horizontal cross members (5) and clotheslines (7) fastened between the horizontal cross members (5) and a base (14) fastened to lower portions of the vertical supports (3) to support the clothesline comprising respective oppositely located breadthwise extending base members (16) wherein, in use the horizontal base members (16) extend to an extent greater, or substantially the same as, the extent of the clotheslines (7) such that, in use, when clothing is hung from the clotheslines, the weight from the clothing does not cause the clothesline (1) to tend to topple sideways. 5 **-- -- --- 'Figure 1</p> |
