摘要 Various methods and systems for hazard detectors are presented. Such hazard detectors may include one or more hazard sensors that are configured to detect the presence of one or more types of hazards. Such hazard detectors may include a circular or a ring-shaped light comprising a plurality of lighting elements. Such a ring-shaped light may be configured to illuminate using a plurality of colors and, possibly, a plurality of animation patterns. Such hazard detectors may include a processing system configured to cause the ring-shaped light to illuminate using the plurality of colors and the plurality of animation patterns in response to a plurality of states corresponding to the battery module and the plurality of hazard sensors.

A hazard detector, comprising: a case, the case having an interior and a plurality of exterior surfaces, wherein the interior of the case houses components of the hazard detector, a first exterior surface of the plurality of exterior surfaces is configured to mount with a wall or ceiling, and a second exterior surface of the plurality of exterior surfaces, located on an opposite side of the case from the first exterior surface; a plurality of hazard sensors housed in the interior of the case, the plurality of hazard sensors detect the presence of a plurality of types of hazards; a user input component to receive user input, the user input component being located on the second exterior surface of the case; a light that emits light, the light comprising a plurality of lighting elements, wherein: the light is capable of illuminating in a plurality of colors and a plurality of animation patterns; andwhen the plurality of lighting elements is illuminated, light output by the light encircles the user input component; and a processing system in communication with the plurality of hazard sensors, the user input component, and the light, the processing system comprising at least one processor that is configured to: determine a state of the hazard detector; andcause the light to illuminate using at least one color of the plurality of colors and an animation pattern of the plurality of animation patterns in response to the determined state of the hazard detector.
