PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate fusing method capable of performing processing using inexpensive laser beam and with an optical system and eliminating a need of a laser beam absorbing material, and a laser processing device using the same.SOLUTION: A glass substrate fusion method of fusing glass substrates overlaid on each other by radiating laser beam to the glass substrates includes a first step and a second step. The first step is a step of overlaying two glass substrates on each other. The second step is a step of condensing first laser beam and second laser beam respectively with wavelength of 2.7 μm or more and 6.0 μm or less and power not to melt surfaces of the glass substrates, radiating the laser beam so that an overlaid portion of the condensed laser beams passes between the two glass substrates, and melting and fusing two glass substrates at the overlaid portion of the condensed laser beams.
