PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a slurry for a porous film which includes non-conductive particles superior in the safety of a lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a slurry for a porous film including non-conductive particles comprises: a mixing step (S1) of mixing non-conductive particles and a solvent together into a slurry; and a distribution step (S2) of distributing the non-conductive particles in the slurry for primary particles after the mixing step. In regard to the distribution step, it is supposed that the particle diameter at a cumulative volume of 90% from the smaller diameter side is D90 in a cumulative particle size distribution of the non-conductive particles, the particle diameter of D90 right after the distribution step is 1.0 μm or more and 1.6 μm or less, and the ratio of D90 right after the distribution step to D90 just before the distribution step is 1.2-2.0. The method for manufacturing a slurry for a porous film further comprises, after the distribution step, a magnetic substance removal step (S6) of removing a magnetic substance from the slurry. |
