PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery low in internal resistance and suppressed in deformation of a negative electrode.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery of an embodiment includes: an electrode group having a positive electrode collector, a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material layer formed on the positive electrode collector, a negative electrode collector, a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material layer formed on the negative electrode collector, and a separator arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; an exterior material housing the electrode group; and a nonaqueous electrolyte charged in the exterior material. The negative electrode collector comprises at least one or more metals selected from among Fe, Ti, Ni, Cr and Al or an alloy including one or more of the metals, and has a coated material including at least one or more metals selected from Au and Cu on a surface of at least a portion excluding the negative electrode active material layer, in the surface of the negative electrode collector. |
