PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a player to play a variation display game in a variation mode meeting a game state and capable of attracting the player's interest in a game machine including a variation display device displaying a variation display game for variably displaying a plurality of pieces of identification information based on entry of game balls into a start pocket and then displaying a result, and generating a special game state advantageous to the player when execution of the variation display game results in a special one.SOLUTION: Execution mode determination means (game control device 30) determines a period for setting a special variation mode in a specific game state, based on a type of a last special result. When a period for setting a special variation mode is started in a specific game state, performance control means (performance control device 40) executes a predetermined performance for reporting start of a period for setting the special variation mode at stop display time of a variation display game before start of the period for setting the special variation mode. |
