<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of a conventional D/A converter having a resolution of N bit resistor string system that since it is configured to take out 2nodes from between 2resistors, select one node therefrom by means of a switch and connect that node with the output terminal thus obtaining the output voltage, the number of nodes increases for higher resolution thus increasing the circuit area.SOLUTION: A variable voltage circuit 50 includes a series connection of a resistor element 104 and a magnetoresistive effect element 108 between a first voltage source 101 and a second voltage source 102, and a magnetic field supply mechanism 121 for applying a magnetic field to the magnetoresistive effect element 108 in the vicinity thereof. The magnetic field supply mechanism 121 can change the resistance of the magnetoresistive effect element 108 by changing the magnetic field, and the node 106 between the resistor element 104 and magnetoresistive effect element 108 is connected with the output terminal 103.</p> |
