PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric water heater which does not require a steam outlet for exhausting steam from a lid body to the outside and which has a steam-less structure in which steam does not go outside.SOLUTION: An electric water heater comprises: a container body including an inner container for storing a liquid and heating means for heating the inner container; and a lid body for closing an upper part side opening part of the container body. Inside, the lid body has: a steam inlet which is on a rear part side and which communicates with the inside of the inner container; and a steam outlet which is on a front part side and which opens to the outside of the lid body at an outer surface part excluding an upper surface part. A steam path from the steam inlet to the steam outlet is provided in an ascending and inclined manner from the rear part side to the front part side of the lid body, and the steam during boiling flows from the rear part side to the front part side of the lid body in an ascending and inclined state, the steam does not go outside as dew condensation generates efficiently to be collected in the inner container. |
