PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid lighting device and a wavelength conversion member, capable of being easily downsized while improving the light extraction efficiency.SOLUTION: A solid lighting device comprises: a light source part for discharging a laser beam as excitation light; and a wavelength conversion member including a transparent substrate having an incidence plane and an emission surface, a filter film provided on the incidence plane for transmitting the excitation light, and a wavelength conversion layer provided on the emission surface for discharging wavelength conversion light by absorbing the excitation light, in which a part of the wavelength conversion light, which is discharged from the wavelength conversion layer and proceeding toward the filter film, is reflected by the filter film. Another part of the wavelength conversion light proceeding toward above the emission surface, scattering light which is not absorbed in the wavelength conversion light and is scattered, proceeding toward above the emission surface, and the light passing through the wavelength conversion layer and proceeding toward above the emission surface among the part of the wavelength conversion light which is reflected by the filter film, are discharged from the wavelength conversion member. |
