<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder capable of appropriately removing a sheet gradually fed in the course of a manual feeding preparation processing without reducing the throughput of recording processing.SOLUTION: The image recorder performs: manual feeding preparation processing of reversing a transport roller on the condition that a registration sensor outputs a detection signal while a transport motor is stopped; counting processing of accumulating a value for identifying a reverse drive amount of the transport motor in the manual feeding preparation processing that has been executed with a switchover mechanism held in a transmission state; manual feeding recording processing (S22-S28) of recording an image on a second sheet on the condition that instruction of recording on the second sheet is received (Yes for S21); and forced-discharging processing (S30, S32) of discharging a first sheet to a position where the first sheet passes through an output roller, the first sheet being fed from a first tray in the course of the manual feed preparation processing, on the condition that value accumulated in the counting processing exceeds a threshold (Yes for S22 and S29).</p> |
