摘要 <p>An electrical engine uses a magnetic piston contained in a housing which has a passage through which the piston can freely reciprocate between opposite first and second ends. Electromagnets mounted adjacent the ends of the passage are configured to generate a repulsive magnetic force onto the piston when activated. An electrical switch couples each electromagnet to an electrical current source for activating the electromagnets when the piston is adjacent the switches. An electrical vehicle propulsion system has a first magnetic piston engine to provide propulsive force to the vehicle and a second magnetic piston engine to drive a DC electric generator. Both engines are driven by current from a series of rechargeable batteries which are at least partially recharged by the generator. A battery controller recharges the batteries cyclically such that while some batteries are drained to provide current for the electric magnetic piston engines, other batteries are recharged.</p>
