<p>[Problem] To provide a display device capable of unprecedentedly improving the visibility of a video superposed within the visual field of a user. [Solution] The display device has: a display unit for superimposedly displaying a video within the visual field of a user; an image-capturing unit for capturing a reflection image produced by light reflected by the eyes of the user; a detection unit for detecting the direction in which a user is gazing and a focal distance on the basis of the reflection image captured by the image-capturing unit; an eye fixation point calculation unit for calculating, on the basis of the gaze direction and focal distance detected by the detection unit, an eye fixation point on an outside subject within the visual field of the user; and a video correction unit for correcting, on the basis of the eye fixation point calculated by the eye fixation point calculation unit, the position of the video and the direction of the video plane displayed within the visual field of the user.</p> |
