The invention relates to a device for harnessing flow energy, in particular wind energy, said device comprising elements (6) which have impingement surfaces and which can be moved in a circulating fashion on a continuous path about a rotational axis, which is transverse with respect to the direction of flow, and are guided at a distance from one another, and having a device (36) for transmitting the flow energy absorbed by the elements (6) to a generator (41). According to the invention, the transmission device comprises at least one ring (36) which can be moved along with the elements (6) and which is connected thereto and on which a plurality of bodies (45), which are composed of ferromagnetic material and/or are permanent magnets, are arranged, and the generator (41) comprises a core (42) which is provided with the generator coil (48) and engages over the ring. In an embodiment of the invention, the core (42) is provided, in addition to the generator coil (48), with a coil (49) for generating a magnetic field. |
