PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of operating for as long as possible without impairing convenience for users.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus (mobile terminal) 100 includes, in order to extend the operation duration of the apparatus, a BIOS 123 that can control in a characteristically non-linear manner the operation frequency of a CPU 121 governing the operation of the apparatus such that it operates at a lower frequency as the remaining amount of stored power (remaining amount of battery) in a battery unit 101 driving the apparatus decreases, on the basis of the remaining amount of stored power in the battery unit 101. |
