PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retroreflective fabric in which water repellent effect is not deteriorated, and retroreflective performance is hard to be deteriorated by performing washing.SOLUTION: This retroreflective fabric 100 is composed of: a base material layer 1 such as a cloth; a glass bead holding layer 2 provided at the upper layer of the base material layer 1; many transparent glass beads 3 held by the glass bead holding layer 2; and a water-repellent layer 4 provided at the upper layer of the glass bead holding layer 2. The water-repellent layer 4 is composed by blending a water repellency agent, a penetrant and a crosslinking agent at prescribed ratios. As the water repellency agent, a fluorine-based water repellency agent is used. As the penetrant, a surfactant or an ether-based mixture is used. Sinc the water-repellent layer 4 is firmly stuck to the glass bead holding layer 2 with the penetrant, even if washing is performed, water repellent effect can be retained as a whole, and deterioration in its retroreflective effect can be prevented. |
