PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual chlorine concentration measuring apparatus capable of efficiently discharging the water carried in a sample solution.SOLUTION: A residual chlorine concentration measuring apparatus 10 includes: an action electrode to which a sample solution X is added; a counter electrode; an ion exchange membrane interposed between the action electrode and counter electrode; and an electrolytic solution impregnated into the action electrode and counter electrode. The measuring apparatus 10 measures the residual chlorine concentration of the sample solution X on the basis of the current flowing between the action electrode and the counter electrode. The action electrode includes an electrode and a carbon fiber felt. The measuring apparatus 10 includes a case 13 for storing the carbon fiber felt, and a discharge unit 30 for discharging the liquid in the case 13 to the outside of the case 13 via a fiber molding 32 for sucking the liquid by a capillary phenomenon.
