<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire protection cap which can obtain high activity by its weight reduction while complying with both of European Standards and Japanese Standards.SOLUTION: A fire protection cap comprises a cap body 2 and a shock-absorbing liner 3. A vertex rib 5 is formed on the cap body 2. An air layer 7 is provided on a specified area between the cap body 2 and the shock-absorbing liner 3. The shock absorbing liner 3 consists of a main liner member 31 which is formed from a synthetic resin foam having heat resistance and an auxiliary liner member 32 which is formed from a synthetic resin foam having lower density than that of the main liner member 31 and having heat resistance. The auxiliary liner member 32 is provided on the position, which corresponds to the vertex rib 5, between the cap body and the main liner member 31.</p> |
