<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the water content of dehydrated cake, which is an object to be treated having undergone hydrothermal treatment and dewatering treatment.SOLUTION: In a hydrothermal treatment apparatus 100, high-temperature and high-pressure steam in a subcritical state is introduced into a treatment apparatus body 1 from a steam supply device group 200 to hydrothermally treat organic sludge 31 having been fed into a dewatering pipe 11 in a subcritical atmosphere. Compressive force is added to the hydrothermally treated organic sludge 31 by a piston 12 to dewater and separate a liquid component, and the compressed and dewatered organic sludge 31 is released from the compressive force to be broken from a compressed shape. Subsequently the inside of the treatment apparatus body 1, in which the organic sludge 31 whose surface area is expanded by the breaking of the compressed shape remains, is released to the atmosphere to eliminate the subcritical atmosphere.</p> |
