<p>The present invention provides: an acrylate-type microparticulate polymer composition which is produced by the copolymerization reaction of a mixture comprising (A) 20 to 85% by mass of an ester compound of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid and a monohydric alcohol having 8 to 12 carbon atoms, (B) 5 to 65% by mass of methyl methacrylate and (C) 3 to 45% by mass of an ester compound of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, wherein the total amount of the components is 100% by mass, said composition having an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 100 μm, being more flexible, and having a superior scratch formation preventing property while maintaining a light diffusing property at the same level as those of the conventional polymer microparticle compositions each produced using a crosslinked polymethacrylate as a base material; and a use of the microparticulate polymer composition as a light diffusing agent.</p> |
