<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for evaluating insulation life capable of certainly determining an insulation life of an object to be measured, using a heat generation amount of the object to be measured.SOLUTION: The device for evaluating insulation life includes: a heat insulation container 1 which is filled with an insulation medium 3 and in which an object to be measured 8 is installed; a high voltage generation part 2 applying a high voltage of a prescribed frequency and a prescribed voltage value to the object to be measured 8 inside the heat insulation container 1; a thermocouple thermometer 9 measuring a temperature of the insulation medium 3 inside the heat insulation container 1; and analyzer 4 deriving a heat generation amount of the object to be measured 8 applied with the prescribed high voltage from temperature data measured by the thermocouple thermometer 9, and comparing the heat generation amount with an insulation life estimation curve indicating correlation between a heat generation amount with respect to a reference measurement object and a dielectric breakdown time to determine an insulation life.</p> |
