PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersant for dispersing and stabilizing a polyhalogenated zinc phthalocyanine to be chiefly used as a green pigment for a color filter without changing a color display region of the pigment.SOLUTION: A pigment dispersant is provided, which comprises: a compound synthesized by sulfonation of Pigment Green 36 with 28% fuming sulfuric acid; and a compound expressed by formula (2), synthesized by sulfonation of Pigment Yellow 138 with 28% fuming sulfuric acid. In the formula, c represents a number of 0.5 to 3.0.
