PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neutron absorption material capable of being produced easily and inexpensively and absorbing neutron more efficiently than the prior art.SOLUTION: There is provided a radiation absorption material which has a boron simple substance and/or boron compound and water-retaining polymer compound, and in which the boron simple substance and/or boron compound is configured to capture neutrons. In this configuration, the water-retaining polymer compound is held by at least two non-woven fabrics, at least one of which may support the boron simple substance and/or boron compound. Alternatively, the boron simple substance and/or boron compound may be included in an aggregate composed of the water-retaining polymer compound. |
