PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spark plug for internal combustion engine in which electromagnetic noise can be reduced while ensuring ignitability, without causing to lower the heat dissipation ability of a center electrode.SOLUTION: A spark plug 1 has a cylindrical housing 2, a cylindrical insulator 3 held on the inside of the housing 2, a center electrode 4 held on the inside of the insulator 3 so that the tip projects, and a ground electrode 5 connected with the tip 21 of the housing 2 and forming a spark discharge gap 11 with the center electrode 4. At least one of the center electrode 4 and ground electrode 5 is provided with a resistance part 6, at least partially in a part closer to the tip side than the housing 2, and not including the discharge surface facing the spark discharge gap 11. |
