PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace mounting structure that improves earthquake resistance in spite of its simple structure, and to provide a brace mounting method and a ceiling substrate structure.SOLUTION: A ceiling substrate material 2 includes a ceiling joist reinforcing material 60 arranged in parallel to a ceiling joist, and a brace receiving material 70 having a brace receiving part 73 receiving other end 9b of a brace 91. The ceiling joist reinforcing material 60 has a fixing surface 61 for fixing the ceiling substrate material 2, and a pair of side surfaces 62 that are erected from the fixing surface 61 to form a brace receiving material receiving part 63 receiving the brace receiving material 70. The brace receiving part 73 includes a pair of first surfaces 74 that are orthogonal to a ceiling joist receiver 4 and face the brace 91, and second surfaces 75 that face a formation surface 62. The brace 91 is installed along a ceiling joist direction X, and a hanger 7 is fitted into the brace receiving part 73 to fix the other end 9b of the brace 91 to the first surfaces 74 and to fix the second surfaces 75 and the side surfaces 62. |
