<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit for supporting a wheel having encoder capable of preventing moisture from immersing into the bearing through a fitting surface between a slinger and an inner wheel without increasing a manufacturing cost of a pack seal and its shape (size) and capable of keeping a bearing performance for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A slinger 16 comprises: a rotating side cylinder 18 outwardly fitted and fixed at the outer circumferential surface of an axial inner end of a hub 3 by tight-fitting; and a rotating side ring part 19 folded and bent from the axial inner end edge of this rotating side cylinder 18 toward an outer ring 2 in a radial direction. An encoder 25a supported and fixed at the axial inner side surface of the rotating side ring part 19 is abutted against the outer circumferential surface of the hub 3 while keeping an interference under a state in which an inner diameter lip 26 extending from the inner diameter side is reversed in an axial direction.</p> |
