<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which can correspond more suitably to the difference of the thickness of recording sheets.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes a recording head 3 for recording on a recording sheet P, a support member 10 which supports the recording sheet P, a gap adjustment means 20A for adjusting the gap between the recording head 3 and the support member, a conveying driving roller 6 for conveying the recording sheet P, and a conveying driven roller 7 which is energized toward the conveying driving roller 6. In addition, a roller position adjusting means 20B is provided which adjusts the gap between the conveying driving roller 6 and the conveying driven roller 7. The roller position adjusting means 20B adjusts, such that when the gap is wide, a first state is adopted in which the conveying driving roller 6 and the conveying driven roller 7 is separated, and when the gap is narrow, a second state is adopted in which the gap between the conveying driving roller 6 and the conveying driven roller 7 is in a positional relationship narrower than the first state.</p> |
