PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive organic waste treatment method capable of reducing the concentration of radioactive substances contained in radioactive organic wastes and reducing amounts of radioactive wastes emitting radiations with high doses.SOLUTION: Provided is a radioactive organic waste treatment method including an organic acid salt treatment step of eliminating radionuclide ions adsorbed by cation exchange resin from the cation exchange resin by contacting radioactive organic wastes containing the cation exchange resin with an organic acid salt solution, an organic acid salt contained in the organic acid salt solution containing cations that can be adsorbed by the cation ion exchange resin more easily than hydrogen ions.
