<p>An accelerator pedal counterforce control device (10) comprising a drive source (31) and gear trains (37, 38, 39, 42) and having: a counterforce application means (13) that applies a dynamic force generated by the drive source to an accelerator pedal (3) as an operation counterforce, via the gear trains; and a control means (5) that controls the drive source. The control means has a vibration mode that oscillates the value for the operation counterforce and causes the accelerator pedal (3) to vibrate. The control means sets the minimum value of the operation counterforce that increases and decreases in the vibration mode, as a minimum value greater than 0, and decreases the minimum value in a range above 0 the more a driver is to be made aware of the vibration of the accelerator pedal (3) or the less likely the driver is to be aware of the vibration of the accelerator pedal. As a result, gear impact sounds can be suppressed and the driver can be more easily made aware of the vibration of the accelerator pedal (3) caused by an increase or decrease in counterforce.</p> |
