STRAIN RELIEF ASSEMBLY

A strain relief assembly for an optical device is described herein. The strain relief includes a connection portion for attaching the strain relief portion to the optical device, a clamping portion configured to clamp onto a jacket of a telecommunication cable passing through the strain relief assembly, and a bend control boot extending from the clamping portion opposite the connection portion. In an exemplary aspect, the clamping portion has two clamping elements disposed on opposite sides of the clamping portion and a clamping collar that is configured to engage with the clamping portion to push the clamping elements inwards toward a telecommunication cable passing through the strain relief assembly.
