PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device having a female terminal capable of reducing abrasive resistance in inserting a male terminal so as to reduce an insertion load and also reducing abrasion in contact parts.SOLUTION: A cylindrical contact member 270 is stored inside a cylindrical contact holder 261 of a female terminal 250. The contact member 270 includes a diameter variable part 275 constituted by multiple metallic wire materials 275a whose both ends are held by front side and rear side holding rings. When a slider is moved in a connector fitting state, the linear movement of a cam projection arranged in the slider is converted into the rotational movement R1 of a rotary ring 280 by cam grooves 290. Then, the front side holding ring fixed to the rotary ring is rotated so as to apply a twist to the diameter variable part. The multiple metallic wire materials 275a form a hyperbolic curve and the metallic wire materials are brought into pressure contact with a male terminal. |
