摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strong radioactive substance adsorbent with a high efficiency of absorbing and removing strontium and cesium contained in contaminated water, a method of manufacturing the same and an apparatus of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A radioactive substance adsorbent 25 is a granule which contains adsorption material for adsorbing ionic radioactive nuclides. The radioactive substance adsorbent 25 is filled in an adsorption tower 20 to adsorb nuclides from contaminated water containing at least one kind of nuclide of radioactive cesium and radioactive strontium. The adsorption tower 20 includes a screen 27 which is disposed at downstream side of the adsorbent 25 for preventing the adsorbent 25 from being flown out. The adsorption material contains titanium acid alkali metal salt. When viewing a particle of the adsorbent 25 from a direction where the front projection area is the minimum, the adsorbent 25 is formed so that a filling effective particle diameter d, which is a distance connecting two points on a circumference of the front projection area is the largest, is larger than a hole diameter of the screen 27.
