PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a calculation amount required to estimate a point spread function for image restoration.SOLUTION: In an image processor, an image block selection part 226 extracts a plurality of pairs of two image blocks mutually located at the same coordinates from each of a deteriorated image and a temporary restored image, and selects a point spread function (PSF) in each image block pair. A PSF considered to be close to a true PSF is selected as a candidate PSF from the estimated PSF. A calculation amount required to estimate a PSF can be reduced by estimating the PSF in a block unit. In addition, A PSF close to the true PSF can be estimated by using an estimation method that is not affected by an image block including noise. |
