<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular accelerator accelerating charged particles, capable of changing an outgoing energy of a charged particle beam with ease, and of eliminating the need for changing a magnetic field deflecting an orbit of the charged particle beam and for changing an acceleration frequency of a high-frequency accelerating electrode part.SOLUTION: A circular accelerator 100 comprises: an electrode 2 applying a high-frequency electric field for accelerating a charged particle beam; an electromagnet device 12 deflecting the charged particle beam; and a DC power supply device 6 applying a DC electric field to the electrode 2.</p> |
