[Problem] To provide a novel protein or the like having excellent pH responsiveness that improves the antibody binding activity in the neutral range of wild-type proteins such as protein G and protein A containing domains having affinity for proteins having an Fc part of immunoglobulin G (IgG) as well as mutant proteins (modified proteins) containing domain mutants thereof to the Fc region of immunoglobulin and further lowers the bindability with the Fc region of immunoglobulin in the weakly acidic range as compared to these proteins. [Solution] A protein comprised by linking by linker multiple domains having affinity for proteins having an Fc part of immunoglobulin G (IgG), the protein being characterized by the fact that the maximum extended length of the linker is 80-240 Å.
