PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which has a module type, is not affected by electrical defects, and controls a plurality of functional modules.SOLUTION: A communication system includes: a plurality of functional modules which include processing units and are coupled in parallel by a communication bus; a supply source for supplying AC voltage with a predetermined frequency to the functional modules via a power bus; a reference conductor shared by the power bus and the communication bus; and a filter which is arranged between the supply source and the functional modules, passes through only a signal component with a larger frequency than a voltage frequency of the supply source, and is connected to a resistor which limits a level of a current supplied to the functional modules. The processing unit supplies a signal which permits interaction between the functional modules to the communication bus. The signal has a plurality of sets consisted of a plurality of high frequency pulses which repeat at a repetition frequency larger than the voltage frequency of the supply source. Each set forms an information pulse corresponding to at least one bit, which a predetermined functional module transmits to another functional module. |
