PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bidding down attacks by a method that it is possible to check whether received security functions to be supported by user equipment (UE) are consistent with security functions stored by the UE itself and it is possible to confirm whether the bidding down attack exists, when the UE performs negotiation of the security function with a mobile management entity (MME).SOLUTION: A method for preventing bidding down attacks during motion of a terminal is provided. The method includes the steps of: sending a tracking area request message to a mobile management entity (MME) by user equipment (UE); receiving security functions to be supported by the UE, transmitted by the MME; and checking whether the received security functions to be supported by the UE are consistent with security functions stored by the UE itself. A system, the MME and the UE for preventing bidding down attacks during motion of the terminal are also provided. |
