<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aγ-ray shielding material which is simple and capable of shielding only a part ofγ-rays without aiming to shield perfectly or 90% or greater in a case like a lead plate or a special concrete, and which solves problems that anyγ-ray shielding material except lead or concrete is hardly used as a conventionalγ-ray shielding material since it is difficult to perfectly shield theγ-rays unless the shielding material is the lead plate or a thick concrete plate, because theγ-rays is one kind of radiation ray having very strong penetrating power, however, it goes without saying, it is desirable to a human body even if 50-60% ofγ-rays can be shielded.SOLUTION: Aγ-ray shielding material is made of a material formed by alternately layering plate shaped coral-derived limestones and metal plates at least three layers, a pasty material formed by pulverizing the coral-derived limestone and kneading it with liquid, or a material formed by pulverizing the coral-derived limestone, kneading it with water, molding it and thereafter sintering it.</p> |
