<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-shielding composition having high light-shielding properties and excellent insulating properties and dispersion stability, and to provide a color filter which is formed using the same and has a black matrix having no development residue. <P>SOLUTION: The light-shielding composition which contains 40 wt.% or more of a coloring material in a solid content contains each of 25 wt.% or more of Pigment Violet 23 and 10 wt.% or more of Pigment Yellow 139 in the solid content as essential components of the coloring material, and contains 5 wt.% or less of a coloring material other than the pigments in the solid content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
