<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drowsiness prediction device that can predict successfully the state of drowsiness of a driver even on a route that the driver has not taken before by vehicles. <P>SOLUTION: As illustrated in FIG. 5, the device is provided with a data base that stores how the drowsiness level deviates (drowsiness level deviation) depending on how much distance is continued to run (continuation distance), in association with the combination of weather, a time zone, physical conditions and a road pattern. When the weather, time zone and physical conditions are inputted by a driver, and a route is searched by a navigation device to acquire a road pattern for each segment of the route, a data set pertaining to rising of the drowsiness level is extracted from the data base, and a drowsiness induction area is predicted on the basis of the continuation distance corresponding to the data set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
