<p>The tool i.e. hammer drill (1), has a tool retainer (2) retaining a tool i.e. drill bit (4), and a motor (5) e.g. brushless electric motor, comprising a stator. A drive train has a transmission between the motor and an output shaft (7). The drive train couples the motor with the retainer for transmitting torque. A system pushbutton (9) is activated by a user such that a motor-actuated control (24) starts turning the motor for duration in a rotational direction and in another rotational direction opposite to the former direction, where the duration is shorter than 100 milliseconds. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a machine tool.</p> |
