This application discloses a vehicle with co-located multiple transceivers (40-56, Fig. 3) which operate in respective frequency bands. In a preferred embodiment the vehicle is an unmanned air vehicle (UAV), i.e. a drone. A communications management module 36 located on the vehicle acts to reduce cosite interference between the transceivers. The communications management module uses the first frequency and first waveform of a signal received by a first transceiver to determine the second frequency and second waveform of a signal to be transmitted by a second transceiver. The frequency band associated with the second frequency should not overlap with the frequency band associated with the first frequency. This seems to amount to frequency division multiplexing (FDM), and allows one transceiver to transmit at the same time as the other is receiving. In one embodiment a waveform specification is stored in a waveform library 30 to enable synthesis of the second waveform. |
